Check out the Fairmont Royal Pavilion a Barbados Luxury Hotel which is also an adult only resort before choosing your honeymoon resort

A Barbados Luxury Hotel on the west coast could be the ideal honeymoon resort. An adult only resort except for a few months in the low summer season the Fairmont Royal Pavilion ticks most of the boxes when you come to deciding where you want to go for what should be the perfect Caribbean honeymoon

Every room at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion has either a balcony or terrace which has stunning views of the sea, and is big enough for a dining table, giving the honeymoon couple the private romantic dinner opportunity. Not only that in true beachfront style from the ground floor patios you are literally one step from the beach. Although the beach isn’t huge, it is very attractive, and to literally have only to step over the low wall is amazing. Of course being on the west coast the sunsets are stunning, and just one of the reasons this is the perfect honeymoon resort.

What makes the Fairmont Royal Pavilion so special is the level of service. You can take the beautiful Plantation Style House, the high quality mahogany furniture, and the remainder of the superb fixtures and fittings for granted, this is after all a real top of the range hotel. What you will find here is a traditional and very personal service.

There’s not many resorts or hotels with what are literally beach butlers who are endlessly coming round with cold drinks, face flannels, popsicles, almost everything you can imagine that is cold or thirst quenching.

You could find yourself at dinner being waited on literally hand and foot by four or five staff. The expression pampered springs to mind when thinking about the staff, many of whom it will come as no surprise to hear have worked here for many years.

You will realise almost immediately that Fairmont Royal Pavilion is a quality act, if you take up the offer of transfers from the airport. Not any old car, but a very smart apparently brand new Mercedes. On arrival it is cold towels, and a glass of champagne. The management will instantly inspire you with confidence, because it’s nice to see a management team involved in guests well being. They are unobtrusive, but there or thereabouts, if you can understand that.

Dinner by the way is served on the Terrace next to the sea, very romantic, very good, and there is live entertainment. It is also delightful to sit overlooking the ocean having a classic English afternoon tea, and it seems there is a strong English presence in the hotel, which comes as no surprise, as there is almost a colonial air to the place.

The decision you have to make is whether or not this particular Barbados Luxury Hotel is the right honeymoon resort for you. Being an adult only resort makes it ideal, but you need to avoid the summer months, but the average age of the guests is relatively speaking quite old, with many English people. This means there isn’t really any night life, although Holetown isn’t far away, and there are a number of very decent restaurants nearby. If you have stressful jobs and you want a quiet honeymoon with fantastic hotel staff, then Fairmont Royal Pavilion could be for you.
